Boarding Policies

At Paradise Pet Resort we board non-aggressive dogs that enjoy socializing and running with the pack.

We love all dogs, however our facility is unable to accomodate the following breeds of dogs-Belgian Malinois, Cane Corso,Mastiff,Pit, Pit x or Staffordshire Terrier.

A meet n greet is to  be scheduled in advance before reservations are made.  There is a charge of $20 cash  for the meet n greet. We will tour the property, let your dog run outside, answer any questions and fill out the paperwork.  Once this is completed , you will be asked to leave your dog with us for 3-4 hours to complete the temperment  and evaluation test. The $20 will be used toward your future boarding reservation. Once tested and if in our opinion we determine that  your dog does not display criteria needed to stay at Paradise Pet Resort, Ltd. we will reimburse you your $20.  KEEP IN MIND THAT SOME DOGS DO NOT DO WELL IN A RESORT STYLE BOARDING FACILITY AND ACTUALLY DO BETTER IN A TRADITIONAL SETTING, AT HOME WITH A PET SITTER OR IN A VETERANARIANS OFFICE.

Dogs are to  be neutered/spayed once they are over 6  months of age and current on vaccines.

We require proof of vaccinations prior to boarding and at the meet n greet. Vaccines must be administered by a Veteranarian. Puppies must be at least four months of age and have had three series of DHLPP shots and their Bordetella  and Rabies vaccines.  Dogs must be current with the following:

DHLPP

Bordetella

Rabies

If your pet is not on a flea and tick preventative, a waiver must be signed prior to boarding. If your dog is found to have fleas/ticks upon arrival , your pet will be treated and you will be billed accordingly.

We do not board dogs that have stitches or require a cone.

A minimum stay of 4 days is required for major holidays ( New Years Day , Easter, Memorial Day Weekend, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.)

Cancellation Policy:  48 hour notice is required. It is the sole managements discretion to deny future boarding requests for those not considerate enough to give ample notice and are repeat offenders.
